Gross
Revenues are Up While Borrower's Costs are Down in Q1 2003 for Daphne, AL-4/28/2003- "The staff and I are extremely pleased to announce that not only have our gross revenues increased 14.6% in a YTD comparison with Q1 2002, but that we have been able to decrease borrower's costs due to the use of newly implemented technology", stated Amanda Spybey, President of Gulf Coast Mortgage Co., Inc. Due to the launch of their new website, www.GCmortgage.com late last year, and new in-house technology enabling them to email mortgage disclosures to borrowers & track on-going files in progress more efficiently, Gulf Coast Mortgage Co., Inc. has been able to cut down operating expenses, and in turn has passed that on to their customers. Because of our successful implementation of technology, Gulf Coast Mortgage Co., Inc. has been able to take on a larger client base and has closed more than twice as many loans in Q1 2003 compared to Q1 2002. According to Ms. Spybey, "We only expect our market share to continue to increase by leaps and bounds. Our primary focus is on providing the kind of service you would want your grandmother to have if she applied for a mortgage, a laymen's terms approach. We treat each and every borrower as if they are the only borrower we have and explain everything in full to them during the entire process. This is the core belief behind the company, each borrower is as important to us as their mortgage is to them". Ms. Spybey was awarded the "2002 Baldwin County Small Business Person of the Year" award by SCORE (Service Corp. of Retired Executives), and Gulf Coast Mortgage Co., Inc. is nominated for œ2003 Small Business of the Year”- Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce. Amanda Spybey founded Gulf Coast Mortgage Co., Inc. in December 1999 and serves as President. She is a member of AMBA, NAMB and the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce, as well as a client of SCORE. She founded the company on the belief that customers want & deserve better service than she saw in the marketplace. Clients, she believes, want quick responses, better explanations of their program & interest rates, status updates of the progress of their application throughout the process, less headaches, and credit counseling when needed/requested (Gulf Coast Mortgage Analysts are trained in credit counseling borrowers). Gulf Coast Mortgage Co., Inc. provides mortgages for many types of borrowers throughout the state of Alabama, including but not limited to: First time homebuyers with little or no money to put down; People who want to lower their current interest rate or term of their mortgage; Clients who want to consolidate their debt into one monthly payment; as well as programs for the self employed and blemished credit borrowers. They work hand in hand with many realtors & insurance agents in order to provide their clients the best product and service available. "We specialize in residential mortgages, whether you have perfect credit and 20% to put down, or you have blemished credit and only 3% down. We'll find you the best program and rate for your particular situation and needs. If we don't have the best program for you, we will (and have many times) refer you to a company that does. If you don't understand something fully, we'll explain it until you do. We only want the best for our clients, and I believe that if you treat a client well, even if that means sending him or her elsewhere, they will refer their friends to us because we are honest & upfront" stated Ms. Spybey.
